If you could pick one song from each of Pearl Jam’s albums after “Ten” that you feel repersents Ten in either sound or in one way or another which one’s would they be?
I will answer my own question just to get things started or to maybe give you an idea.

Sadly, besides “Ten” I haven’t purchased any other Pearl Jam.
I have been disappointed in their other efforts, disc-wise, save for the occasional song like “Yellow Ledbetter” , “Daughter,” and “Better Man” and don’t feel the investment was worth it for just a handful of songs.
“Ten” is a masterpiece but they’ve yet to match it, much as Candlebox has let me down since their initial self-titled effort.

I apoligize for this being so long, but I am VERY frustrated..
For the past month or so, every time I drink alcohol, OR sometimes when I lay down flat to sleep. I develop inflammation and EXTREME pain to the extent of tearing out of my eye, and SOMETIMES a runny nose on the left side of my face. Areas of inflammation include the top middle of my left jaw, the jaw hinge, lymph nodes, temple, beside my left nostril, and in my sinus. And my eye has pain and sometimes feels like there is pressure behind it. It must be getting worse, as the past two times I played golf, it also happened as well.The only thing that relieves it is to rub an ice pack around all the inflamed areas for about half an hour.
I thought it was a root canal failure problem resulting in an infection, (but my dentist could see no sign of that in x-rays, (he put me through a course of antibiotics, but it didn’t do anything.) He thinks that it may involve my sinus area, and is to do with my blood pressure, (I have high blood pressure, and incomplete right branch bundle block.) But he says that it is puzzling that a problem that seems caused by blood vessels opening up, is relieved when I put ice on the area, as that ALSO causes blood vessels to open. He suggests that it may be an occlusion.??? The following information MAY help with this problem:
-About 20 years ago, I fell back onto a fiberglass seat on a boat when it jumped over a wave.
-I started to have EXTREME pains in the base of the left side of my neck. It felt like it was in the BASE of my brain stem.
-The only relief was chiropractic adjustments a few times a week.
-After two years of this, I just wished I was dead.
-A chinese kung fu expert and doctor visited my home town. He did some muxibustion, acupuncture and massages on me, and after 6 treatments, everything started to subside.
-Since then every once in awhile I have some pain there, but it gradually got better.
-About 4-5 years ago, I had a few bouts of pain in the neck and once got relief by seeing an osteopath did some adjustments on my neck and shoulders.
-When I developed blood pressure the ONLY medication I could take was a beta blocker. The others (which open blood vessels) caused headaches and EXTREME pain in the same lower neck area.
-Now I am on two “types” of beta blockers, as I was at the limit with the ternomin (100-200 mg) and couldn’t take anything else. the other is trandate, as it allows me to take up to 300 mgs (three times a day)
-I am allergic to aspirin, NSAID’S, some vitamins, and even a few herbs and spices..
-I have all the side effects of these meds. weight gain, acute eczema and phryisis, swollen ankles with edema.
-I have also developed arthritis in my ankles and other joints.This has left me unable to exercise as my knees and ankles really swell up if I try to jog, or even walk for a time on a tread mill.
-Recently I have had a few bouts of EXTREMELY painful gout, one that sent me to the ER. (I did the blood test and it showed that I had the high count of uric acid, but no rheumatoid arthritis, although I was previously diagnosed with arthritis especially on my left ankle (old injury) that has had me on crutches quite a few times after playing a few rounds of golf on consecutive days. (Although sometimes I was told it could be gout.) I am starting to feel like a REAL old man, although I played a LOT of sports in my day, including American Football and 20 years of rugby.
I stated all of the above facts because I feel that if the problem is not related to my teeth, it must be something to do with the problems from the old injury to the base of my neck, as it is a very similar pain. The questions are:
What my problem could possibly be, (or course.)
What type of doctor should I see about this?
What type of test, scans etc.. can be done to check the old injury site in the base of my neck, (I always thought that it was a pinch nerve (done by a partially dislodged bone?) that was eventually worked free enough to ease the chronic pain, but whenever my blood vessels in that area are opened for any reason, it pinches the nerve that is still partially trapped.
-What type of test/scans can be done to check to see if I do have an occlusion in my sinus area, or somewhere in the left side of the blood vessels in my brain?

Hi there, Im not sure what age you are BUT if the pain and inflammation are one sided , i.e one side of the facial area or head then it is suggestive that the pain is following the path of 1 or more branches of the trigeminal nerve on that affected side of your face. Possibilities are TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA, or if you are older(50+) TEMPORAL ARTERITIS. The latter of these two conditions mentioned is by far the more serious and is sometimes called GIANT CELL ARTERITIS. G.C.A usually carries symptoms similar to yours but also you should look out for symptoms such as pain upon chewing, scalp tenderness( pain when brushing hair) and in some cases you can actually physically examine the arteries on the temples(side of the head) and they may physically look swollen. You have detailed a quite complex medical history here but i would say that all the symptoms your having may not all have the same source. I would suggest your HBP and relevant meds to be irrelevant. I would go straight to a GP and get referred to a neurologist. All my best, John

How to properly use binaural beats?

Question by : How to properly use binaural beats?
Whenever I try sleeping with them on (I’m trying to Lucid Dream) I can never fall asleep. I’ve tried ones with white noise, no white noies, everything.
I’m using Sony Studio headphones (Big overhead kind) Do you need good quality headphones, or will crappy Apple Earbuds suffice (have)?

Also, should the volume be loud or quiet?

Lighting?

set the volume to medium low. the headphones dont matter(earbuds do hurt after a while) but try playing them as a flac file, they have the best sound quality. lighting doesnt matter as long as you dont put a light right on your face. idoser is a good source for Binural beats. or if you dont want to pay for them its really simple to find them in other places

If the process is working, you leave Beta, into Alpha and lower is Theta. SP? I took a program on meditation, using temperature trainers that measured the temperature of ones fingers. As we meditated–a form of self hypnosis, the temperature in our hands went up, indicating that our mind was more relaxed. We then got to go to Menningers in Topeka where we got to work on their giant bank of brain wave feedback machines. I went from the active Beta, down into Alpha and as I sunk into a deeper state, a beep sounded that brought me back up. It was Theta. I think Delta is next…but that i almost unconscious.

Okay, so I have a physics exam tomorrow and I have a few mcqs in my book, but the answers aren’t written there so I’d be really grateful if you told me the answers to these so I could check if mine are correct.

d. Polarisation . The others are characteristics of both transverse and longitudinal waves. Longitudinal waves cannot be polarised. And light waves can be polarised.

2. c. refraction is caused by change in speed of the waves, not by their superposition.

3. Very odd set of statements. I think the answer is (d) because clouds ( water droplets ) absorb Infra -red and stop you “seeing” through them.
(a) and (b) are true and (c) I just don’t know but its possible though “accidental ” would be pushing it a bit.

Possibly, but not everyone is susceptible to being hypnotised. No-one can be hypnotised unless they are willing to be so. Most people who can be hypnotised are easily susceptible to the power of suggestion. And even a hypnotist cannot make anyone do what they would not want to if lucid.

This theory is completely delineated as the main concept in my book.

This theory has been written to open our minds to potential possibilities in the nature of our realities.

Quantum Physics describes that our minds have the potential to be much greater than any of us could have ever imagined. They say that at the deepest level of consciousness, consciousness can create universes.

Now if each and every one of us deep down inside contains the potential of these abilities with our mind and hearts where with a thought anything is possible, then that means we were obviously meant to live for so much more. As you grow and learn you will adapt using different levels of percentages of your brain. This is achieved through opened eyes, a heightened sense of things, and of course a deeper understanding of love.

In this theory, everything at the smallest level of reality (a subatomic level or the Planck Scale) (1.616252×10−35 m)) exists as an energy, an energy that flows in a wave pattern powered by different level of vibrations. These vibrations can be altered and effected by the process of a thought which would be governed by human consciousness. This energy is the (God Particle) or the higher intelligence that is known to maintain and control the events of the entire universe.

Anything and everything that happens at a subatomic level cannot be quantifiable by any kind of mathematical means. We can only conclude certain probabilities out of different possibilities. In this theory, our minds can actually affect the vibrational frequency at that level and change them in whichever way we please.

Also within this theory, we can use 100% of our minds again by enduring a deeper understanding of universal love. Love is the strongest thing our natural beings can create. Through a pure and natural true love which we would acquire once re-adapting ourselves in a pure and natural environment and strongly connecting us to our significant other, we would achieve an alternate understanding of reality and in theory connect to the quantum field.

Simply put, this signifies that love (an essence which ceases to exist in space and time) is the path to our Nirvana and or deeper level of our consciousness. Within this divine and perfect true love, we would constantly endure what is known as the “Feel Good Effect”.

At a deeper level of consciousness eating could potentially be unnatural. We would obtain the ability to control the tiny bits of matter (Quarks) and instead of letting them constantly disappear and reappear out of our physical reality, stabilize their current being, and ravel them up into tiny balls of matter which could potentially form into different nutrients appropriate for the human body.

At a deeper level of consciousness we may also never age. Aging could also be unnatural. It could only exist because we believe it to. In the nature of reality, our bodies which are going to be governed by a deeper level of consciousness may never experience the sense of aging at all. At this point, the constant fluctuation and coalescence of love may regularly change and replenish our body’s cells for an amaranthine amount of time.

Time would be another illusionary construct only placed upon our perceptions for continual and destructive means. In the nature of our realities, time wouldn’t exist. If time doesn’t exist then all that we perceive as reality may drastically change. There wouldn’t be any means of a need for survival as the entire planet may live in an immense intent of harmony that is constantly changing, learning, and adapting so life can continually replenish itself in an everlasting pure and natural energy.

Also within this theory, I conclude that lust is a vagary of our natural perception, an obscure and obsolete illusion of affectionate consideration for one another. It is a universal awry that leads to disinterest and destruction of common relationships.

In addition, the crystal skulls that are found all over the planet could possibly be the remains of our ancient ancestors who once endured a deeper level of consciousness.
